“Why now?” Why did the car have to break down; why did I have to get sick; why did he/she die? why was I in that accident; why did these bills come due, why did I lose my job now? Why and why now?”

“Why not now?”  This blog is about people who have learned to play the cards life has dealt them. Make no mistake, we all play a lot of rounds before we cash in the pot and check out. But those who ask “Why now?” not as a complaint, but as an inquiry are the ones who learn to play the cards life’s dealth them. They see what could be negative as a lesson, as a wake-up call, as a reason for changing their life.

Too many people look at the cards they’ve been dealt, fold them up and never even try to play the hand, let alone imagine they can win it. Others quickly learn that life is a game of choice, chance and courage. Those are the people you’ll read about here. Read along. I hope they’ll inspire you to take another look at the cards life may have dealt you.
